Eric Truitt is the Chief Strategy Officer of MapLarge, a private U.S.-owned and controlled Small Business based in Atlanta, GA. With more than a decade of heritage, MapLarge’s rapid application development Platform serves over 1,000 commercial and government customers in production and operations across a wide diversity of use cases. In his role, Truitt leads MapLarge’s strategy for new market growth, enterprise customer solutions, and products and services go-to-market activities.
Prior to his current position, he served as the Chief Solutions Officer for Terran Orbital Corporation and PredaSAR Corporation, a U.S.-based manufacturer, owner, and operator of satellites and related space-based solutions, where he was a leading Executive from from corporate startup at PredaSAR to taking Terran Orbital public on the NYSE [NYSE:LLAP]. He has also previously served as Chief of Space and Intelligence Programs for the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where he was responsible for developing strategic technological innovations for research sponsors in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). In addition, Truitt has 22 years of service supporting the DoD and IC as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) expert, and as a senior advisor for Intelligence and Space mission technology applications. Truitt served in the United States Navy from 2001 – 2005, where he was a recognized subject matter expert in satellite communications and Trunked Mobile Radio (TMR) technologies.
Truitt holds a Master of Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Augusta University and additionally pursued a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at George Mason University.
